From News Center (Text and Photo by Fu Chongwu, School of Arts) On December 19, the 2025 Work Conference of Guangxi Animation and Game Production Occupation Education Group (GAGPOEG) and Seminar on the Development of Animation Vocational Education was held at Guangxi Overseas Chinese School. At the conference, LZPU was elected as the Vice Chairman Unit of GAGPOEG. We also won nine awards in the 2025 Animation Works Competition of Vocational Colleges in Guangxi, including three first prizes, achieving outstanding results. Zhou Yinghao, head of the Animation major at the School of Arts, and teacher Fu Chongwu attended the conference on behalf of LZPU.

With the theme of "Empowering Industry-Education Integration with Digital Intelligence, Leading the New Journey of Animation Vocational Education," the conference brought together colleges, enterprises, and industry experts from across the region to discuss development pathways in the animation vocational education sector. Our team actively participated in all agenda items and engaged in in-depth exchanges with other member units on key topics such as curriculum development, talent cultivation, and school-enterprise cooperation. It is worth mentioning that in the 2025 Animation Works Competition of Vocational Colleges in Guangxi held concurrently, our students delivered outstanding performances in the AIGC animated short film category, winning three first prizes. Among them, Peng Caiyun's "Dreamweaver · Zhuang Brocade," Zhang Mingxin's "Echo of the Bronze Drum," and Deng Mingting's "Guardian of the Sugarcane Forest" stood out for their distinctive themes and exquisite creative techniques. The works were guided respectively by Yong Jia, Dean of the School of Arts, and Vice Dean Guo Chuang. These award-winning pieces fully showcase our students' solid professional skills and diverse creative perspectives, and also highlight LZPU's achievements at the forefront of AIGC in animation. LZPU's election as Vice Chairman Unit of GAGPOEG represents industry-wide recognition of our achievements in animation vocational education and establishes a crucial platform for deepening industry-education integration and expanding school-enterprise cooperation in the future.

This accomplishment is a significant reflection of the School of Arts' continuous efforts to enhance the substance of its professional programs. Looking ahead, the School of Arts will use GAGPOEG as a platform to leverage its role as a vice chairman unit, integrating industry resources to deepen school-enterprise cooperation. We will focus on digital and intelligent transformation to optimize our curriculum system, strengthen hands-on innovation training, and continuously deliver high-caliber technical and skilled professionals for the high-quality development of the animation industry in Guangxi, contributing LZPU's strength.
