Liu Zilin, Secretary of the CPC LZPU Committee, and Chen Zhengzhen, Member of the CPC LZPU Committee and Vice President, attended the opening ceremony. Heads of relevant functional departments and secondary schools, representatives of athletes, referees, teachers, and students also participated in the ceremony. At the ceremony, Liu Zilin announced the official opening of the LZPU's first "Youth Football Cup" University Student Football League.

It is also an important measure to boost the development of campus football and enrich campus sports and cultural life. He emphasized that LZPU should take this league as an opportunity to actively create a campus atmosphere where football is loved, participated in, and enjoyed, and guide students to put down their phones, step out of the virtual world, and build up their physique, temper their will, and gain growth through physical exercise. At the opening ceremony, the Dragon and Lion Division of LZPU's Wushu Association and the Boundary-breaking UAV Association jointly presented the opening show Leaping LZPU. Amid the sonorous drumbeats, the lively lions pranced around in high spirits. UAVs carrying footballs arrived soaring through the sky, which formed a wonderful contrast with the lion dance performance on the ground, igniting the enthusiasm of the whole audience. The Student Art Troupe presented the cheerleading performance Rhythm of Youth, and international student representatives gave a dynamic performance that combines fancy football skills and team cooperation, which fully demonstrates the youthful vitality of LZPU students. Subsequently, UAVs delivered the match ball to the center circle of the pitch. Amid warm applause and cheers from teachers and students, Liu Zilin kicked off the opening match, officially launching this year's "Youth Football Cup" University Student Football League.
The "Youth Football Cup" University Student Football League is an exploration of the new integrated path of "Party Building Leading Youth League Building + Sports" in LZPU.
